The business / recommendation aspect to HG!WH? has been a challenge to manage without causing too much of a stir, and to stay well within the needs of all concerned. Additionally, we, as a news media source have understood a need for a business/service directory style offering of this kind.
In speaking with several locally owned businesses and consumers, we truly feel Listy is as close to a solution that we’ve ever had and hope you see its true intention and the solution as a whole.
HG!WH? averages 113 questions (2022-24 average) per week regarding members asking for recommendations.
As you will see, we’ve chosen to allow businesses/services to become members of the directory at no cost for 7 days, beginning June 28, 2024. After that period, all plans will transition into membership roles, priced in an effort to scale, and be beneficial to all sizes of businesses.
Our first focus is the Arkansas River Valley, and immediate radius, such as HG!WH? was originally established.
Our second is using Listy as a means to collectively house businesses and services, having consumers utilize its directory style site to peruse members who not only support local, but also have local focus.
The process….
- Consumers will be pointed to Listy when commenting in HG!WH? Facebook group.
- Through individual plans (Free, Standard, and Extra), businesses can participate and interact with consumers within HG!WH? in the form of replies, and user-managed ads.
- Yes, it will be tightly governed. Due to Facebook policies about groups, we have to keep a tight grip on it. Again, you will be main aspect in the overall success of this solution.
- Does it cost? Initially, no. We’re giving a 7-day free membership (see above). After that period, and upon your choosing, the listing will be user-managed by you, according to individual plan, or set to vacated.
- There are many added benefits to becoming a monthly member to Listy which includes added promotion, business articles, our own staff to help you be the success you were destined for.
As you go thru the site, and find something that just doesn’t work/function properly, or if we need to add a category for your business/service… let us know! Additionally, as we have tested this site for several weeks, there may be an unseen issue. If so, please contact us.
